AIRTAXI World Congress to deliver 3,000+ meetings with industry professionals over 3 days

Urban air mobility is a booming industry often referred to as “the wild west,” said Ceren Baktimur, director of the AIRTAXI World Congress event, hosted by Global Travel Investments Ltd.

“It’s a real challenge to try to arrange meetings with everyone’s full diaries, packed referral emails, and on top that, the time differences around the world,” Baktimur said. “That’s why AIRTAXI World Congress is here to help industry professionals pre-schedule one-on-one meetings with key people in the industry.”

More than 3,000 one-on-one meetings are expected to take place during several networking receptions at this year’s AIRTAXI World Congress, taking place at the Raffles Istanbul hotel in Turkey from Sept. 13 to 15, 2022.

“We’re receiving an overwhelming response from some of the top industry decision makers who are turning to AIRTAXI World Congress as their premier networking event. This includes Archer, Joby Aviation and Avolon,” Baktimur said.

AIRTAXI World Congress’ main sponsors include Inmarsat, Bilisim Vadisi, Edmonton International Airport and SITA.

Inmarsat will act as the airline host partner, allowing airline representatives who are in attendance to have the opportunity to meet with various eVTOL developers and industry stakeholders and be greeted with special gifts.

Bilisim Vadisi (Technology Development Zone), will be the sponsor of the vertical air show on the third day, providing delegates with transportation to the valley for the air show where they’ll be offered a tour of the valley and enjoy the show with Turkish snacks and refreshments.

“We’re also partnering with Edmonton International Airport which will help delegates — not in the air but on the ground — carry their belongings using luxury delegate bags,” Baktimur said. “And thanks to SITA, delegates can start to enjoy the event with a pre-event networking reception on Sept. 12.”

Other major sponsors include Limosa and Nextra Aerospace from Canada, as well as Dronepad Italy and AirCar Corp from Turkey.

The Congress will start with deep-dive panels that will include eVTOL discussions from the world’s top regulators, delivery drone companies, unmanned aircraft system traffic management (UTM) companies, airports, key investors and eVTOL developers. The full program is available on the event website.

Baktimur said delegates have already pre-scheduled their one-on-one meetings with some of the confirmed top industry professionals, including Japan Airlines, United Airlines, EHang, Skyports, Archer, Joby Aviation, Atlas Crest Investments, GMR Group, Skyroads, Avolon Aerospace Leasing, City of Toulouse, Customcells, and many more.

Attendees can request a 20-minute meeting with any delegate, including with leading airlines, eVTOL manufacturers, city authorities, investors, trade government departments, battery providers, UTM navigation companies, and others.

The event will conclude with the vertical air show, starting with the VVIP helicopter arrival to the Turkish Mobility Center, exclusive hospitality and a line-up of vertical take-offs and landings.

“Do not miss being front and center of the vertical air show, attending one-on-one meetings with top manufacturers, operators and investors, and of course, the Bosphorus private yacht drinks and canape reception,” Baktimur said.
