The Vertical Flight Society (VFS) will be offering a series of free webinars on topics related to eVTOL infrastructure.
The webinars will cover material that was scheduled to be discussed at VFS’s second Workshop on eVTOL Infrastructure for Urban Air Mobility, which was originally planned for March 17 and 18 but delayed due to COVID-19 concerns.
While the in-person workshop is expected to be rescheduled for late summer or early fall, the webinar series — which will take place over four weeks starting April 15 — will help “sustain the infrastructure conversation” in the meantime, says VFS.
The 90-minute webinars include “Fire, Building and Electrical Code for Vertiports,” sponsored by Gannett Fleming, on April 15; “Weather Systems,” sponsored by Deloitte, on April 22; “Acoustics and Noise,” sponsored by Uber Elevate, on April 29; and “Urban/Municipality Planning and Land Use,” sponsored by PS&S, on May 6.
Attendance is free thanks to the event sponsors, but participation is limited to the first 500 people who register for each webinar. More information and registration links are available on the VFS website.
