Chinese urban air mobility leader EHang released footage on Feb. 23 of its two-seat autonomous aerial vehicle (AAV), the EH216, conducting trial flights above a frozen lake in Beijing, China.
Two aircraft completed a total of five flights during the month of February, according to the company, demonstrating the ability to fly in extreme weather conditions including minus 14 degrees Celsius (7 degrees Fahrenheit). To date, EHang said it has completed more than 10,000 trial flights, including passenger-carrying flights, in 42 cities across eight countries.
EHang's YouTube channel has been updated numerous times in the past week as the company continues to release flight footage and other videos in response to allegations of fraud by activist short-seller Wolfpack Research.
